Sensory-Friendly Tours
We know that the guided tour format doesn’t always work for individuals on the Autism Spectrum. The Molly Brown House Museum invites families and individuals on the spectrum, or with other special needs, to join us for a self-guided experience. Book your tour here. If you need a scholarship, please contact access@mollybrown.org.

SPARK! On the GO programs – Free programs that come to your location:
Language of Flowers
Through images learn about popular flowers of the time and how the Victorians used them as a coded language to communicate with each other. Explore the meanings behind some of your favorite flowers. Have a chance to put together your own “tussie mussie” or posy to take with you.
Music and Mrs. Brown
Did you know that Margaret “Molly” Brown was quite musical? What instruments did she play? Through images, recordings and videos explore the types of music that were popular during Margaret’s lifetime. Look at how, in later years, through songs and musicals, Margaret and the old West were depicted. Sing along to some popular songs from those periods.
Game Day
Today when family or friends gather, they often entertain themselves by watching a movie or sports on T.V. or perhaps play video games. How did the Victorians entertain themselves at home? The Victorian era was considered the “Golden Era” of board games and parlor games, many of which are still played today. Learn about these games, play a game of Tiddly-Winks, and make and decorate your own spinning top.
