Join us for our Victorian Horrors theater program where deathly tales written by well-known but long-gone authors are read by acclaimed local actors in a one hour program. Admission times are every 15 minutes from 6 PM to 9 PM. For Historic Denver Members – $25, General Admission Tickets – $30.

Portraying Rosa Mulholland this year at Victorian Horrors is Trina Magness! 👻 Trina Magness has been haunting the Molly Brown house since the late 1990’s. She began by playing Mary Shelley, reading from Frankenstein. Trina is excited to portray Rosa Mulholland in this year’s Victorian Horrors! Notable Roles in Denver Theatre: The Intoxicator/Dale Clark, SPIRITS TO ENFORCE; Gertrude Fail, FAILURE: A LOVE STORY (Best of Westword, Best Supporting Actress in a Drama); First Witch, MACBETH (Denver Post Ovation Winner for Best Ensemble). Trina is a full time drama teacher at Ranch View Middle School.

We have music for one of our performances and Jerimiah Otto will be our musical accompaniment for the opening weekend! 👻
Jerimiah has had the privilege of music directing a wide variety of shows and concerts at Ei! Marionetas International Theater Festival Gondomar, Portugal, University of Guelph Canada, Lakewood Cultural Center, Candlelight Dinner Theater, Vintage Theater, Aurora Fox Theater, Cherry Creek Theater, Red Rocks Community College and the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has also performed assistant and substitute roles at the Denver Center for Performing Arts and Arvada Center respectively. In 2023 Jerimiah performed at L’Échappée Estivale early music festival in Cluny, France. In August 2025 he gave two concerts at the church of Saint-Julien-du-Sault, France “L’orgue fait son marché” on harpsichord and on the historic 1568 Renaissance organ as part of the Les Épopeés early music festival. Mr. Otto holds a BM degree in Piano Performance and a MM degree in Harpsichord Performance from CU Boulder.

David Nehls is an award-winning composer, lyricist, and musical director whose work has lit up stages from Off-Broadway to the Arvada Center. His original shows include The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Killer Wigs from Outer Space, and Miss Rhythm: The Legend of Ruth Brown, among many others. As a musical director, he has led more than 50 productions at the Arvada Center, earning 10 Henry Awards and a well-tuned reputation for excellence. Before stepping behind the piano, David spent 16 years performing on national and international tours—including The Rocky Horror Show, where he originated the role of Riff Raff in the European tour. When he’s not creating or conducting, David continues to share his one-man show Do You Wanna Go? and his passion for storytelling that sings.

Portraying Oscar Wilde this year at Victorian Horrors is Casey Andree! 👻 Casey is delighted to return to Victorian Horrors! He has acted around the Denver theatre community for a decade, including four seasons at Colorado Shakespeare Festival, many shows with BETC, and credits with Miners Alley, Town Hall Arts Center, and Cherry Creek Theatre, among others. He loves horror fiction and builds online learning experiences after a decade as a math educator in Denver Public Schools.

Portraying Sheridan Le Fanu this year is Matthew Murry! 👻 Matthew is possessed with joy to join the Victorian Horrors! Local Credits: The Cherry Orchard, School of Rock, Assassins (Miners Alley Performing Arts Center), Around the World in 80 Days, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Little Miss Sunshine (Aurora Fox), Little Women (Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company), The Inheritance, The Glass Menagerie (Vintage Theatre) , Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley (Firehouse Theater Company). Education: M.F.A. in Acting – Indiana University, B.A. in Theatre – Muskingum University, Certificate in Commedia Dell’Arte Performance – Antonio Fava’s International School of Comic Acting in Italy. Awards: 2023 True West, 2024 Onstage Colorado.

Portraying Bram Stoker this year at Victorian Horrors is David Payne! 👻 David Payne has appeared in almost every year of Victorian Horrors’ long run beginning with reading Bram Stoker’s Dracula. He has served as director, producer, actor, playwright, and teacher throughout the region since 1980. His work has spanned the Arvada Center, Town Hall Arts Center, Colorado Renaissance Festival, PHAMALy, and The Aurora Fox. He was the theatre instructor at the Logan School for Creative Learning for twenty-five years, technical director for Community College of Aurora, Mizel Arts and Culture Center, a theatre teacher at Grandview High School, and currently the Technical Director for Lakewood High School.

Portraying J.H. Riddell this year at Victorian Horrors is Julia Elstun Payne! 👻 Julia Elstun Payne has performed in, and coordinated the talent for Victorian Horrors since its first season over thirty years ago. She served for three years as Artistic Director for Christian Youth Theatre, worked on staff in the Education Department at the Arvada Center for six years, and has taught theatre, directed, and performed throughout the Metro area. You may also have seen her in commercials and industrial videos. Julia also works locally as an audio describer.
