Carpet Bag Program

Supplement your Colorado History unit with a visitor from the Molly Brown House Museum. A friend of Margaret "Molly" Brown will take your class back to the turn of the 20th century to learn about customs of the time period, restoration of the Molly Brown House Museum, the Titanic, Leadville and Denver history. This is also an excellent way to prepare for a trip to the museum.

Specialty programs such as our Mining Trunk, Women's History, and Denver's Growth and Establishment are also available. If you need something specific, please ask!

Cost: $1.50/student without tour reservation OR $0.50/student with tour reservation.

As of September 1, 2003:  Carpetbag programs will be provided free of charge to schools within the seven county Denver Metropolitan area when a museum tour is scheduled.  (Click here to learn more about school tours of the museum.)  Schools not making a museum tour reservation will be charged $1.50/student for a Carpetbag program.

Call (303) 832-4092 x 17 for information and reservations. Please request more information regarding discounted rates through SCFD.
